Rivers Fitness is delighted to announce another year of sponsorship with local hurdler, Heather Paton!
During the indoor season of 2017, Heather became the Scottish Native record holder and also the Scottish National record holder for the 60m Hurdles, breaking records that had stood since 2011 and 2008.
This year she is ranked 9th in the UK and 1st in Scotland over both the 100m hurdles and the 60m hurdles (indoor) and has been Scotland’s number 1 ranked sprint hurdler for the past 3 years.
Heather ran a personal best in the 60m hurdles, 8.34 (previously: 8.58) and a Personal best in the 100m hurdles, 13.47 (previously: 13.62)
She has made the finals at competitions such as the Senior National Championships, the CAU National Championships and the World Trials and British Championships. She has also represented Scotland at all 3 of their international meets (Loughborough, Belfast and Manchester) and has gained the qualifying standard for next years Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.
