An Evesham student raising money for a range of different charities has organised a ‘FitMix’ event at Evesham Leisure Centre.
The 2 hour event, which takes place on Saturday 25th February at 3pm, is part of Chloe Barnett’s fundraising effort for the Alzheimer’s Society, Dementia Friends & World Challenge charities.
Rivers have donated use of the sports hall for the event and Chloe has recruited two Rivers instructors who will also give their time free of charge.
When asked what has inspired her into fundraising, Chloe said “I wanted to get involved with this because I really wanted to help less fortunate families who are living a poor quality of life. I feel I can help and want to support the young children to try and bring smiles to their faces”.
Sharon Keen, the Marketing Manager at Rivers added “It’s great to see young people raising funds for a number of charities. We are delighted to donate the sports hall for this event and look forward to seeing how Chloe’s work benefits both the local community and those further afield”.
