The Rivers Fitness Rooms feature high quality Technogym equipment. This standard of equipment not only ensures your safety and wellbeing, but also targets the right places in your body to allow the best results from your workout.
Our stations can broadly be categorised as Cardiovascular or Resistance. We also provide a good selection of free weights, exercise balls, ab cradles and stretching areas, giving you every chance to experience an enjoyable, challenging and effective work-out with Rivers.

Free Weights:
We have a good selection of dumbbells and adjustable benches, allowing you to perform an array of exercises. We recommend that you ask our fully qualified instructors for suggestions on how to use the free weights safely and effectively, and with your goals in mind.
Exercise Balls:
They are all the rage and with good reason. Once you have experienced some of the many exercises possible with the balls, they will become an essential part of your workout. Ask an instructor to show you just what is possible!
Ab Cradles:
They rock with your torso to provide good form during abdominal exercises, ensuring minimum stress to the back and neck.
Stretching:
Each of our fitness rooms has a matted area for stretching. Display boards demonstrate appropriate stretches for all parts of the body and our instructors are always on hand to advise you of correct technique.
