Friends of Droitwich Spa Lido (FODSL) was formed in August 2010 by a group of local residents to promote and keep alive Droitwich Spa Lido with the aim being to work with the local community and Wychavon Leisure to support the upkeep of the lido, raise awareness, influence improvements and keep alive the heritage of the lido and convey ideas from the 'friends' and the members of public alike.   We discuss ideas for future events and ways to raise money through group meetings that are held throughout the year at the Leisure Centre - dates and times for 2012 meetings will be published shortly.

Please be aware that FODSL have their own email address which is : fodsl@hotmail.co.uk so please drop us a line if you are able to volunteer to help at any of our events or if you have some good ideas to promote and raise money for the Lido or you just wish to raise a question about what we do.

Due to the support of the local community FODSL were able to purchase wooden tables, chairs and sun umbrellas for the lido all with the inscription 'kindly donated by FODSL' - a wonderful achievement to say the least.

Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre now have a FODSL button on their till purely to log any monies donated for this cause, thus making it easier for people to donate at a venue they all know.

FODSL would like to thank all those who have already become members and for the public for their support in raising the awareness of the lido, donating much need funds and supporting all the events that have taken place over the past year.   Together we can become even stronger and keep the lido running for many years to come.
